S1000 is here! This is by far the largest diameter polymer concrete pipe that has been approved in Singapore.
Manufactured with best-in-class technology from Japan and complied with BS EN 14636-1:2009, TPP polymer concrete pipes have been certified with at least 100 years of lifespan strength and the capability to withstand ground pressure and high jacking forces without breaking.
Despite the S1000 pipe’s large diameter and highly durable strength, it has been carefully designed to be lighter weight and with a smoother exterior than traditional concrete pipes, reducing friction and enabling lower jacking force during installation.
Polymer concrete has also proven to be highly resistant to corrosive chemical attacks, which is a key consideration for sewage pipelines.
In recent years, TPP pipes have already been widely used across several sewerage and water pipeline projects including LTA, PUB and HDB.
